Hybrid Futures
Co-design enabling self-determination with digital technologies for mobility and wellbeing
Digitally-enabled transformative services for mobility
Young Australians with disabilities face lower levels of employment opportunities compared to their peers. This is because mobility can be a significant challenge, making it difficult for them to gain and maintain employment. This project addressed this critical issue by identifying the factors that enable or hinder young people’s self-determination and mobility and explored the potential for digital technologies to expand access to information about transport and support networks. This project delivered resources to facilitate collaboration between designers, service providers and communities to co-create transformative services that empower people to manage their mobility experiences.
